3rd Doing Business with India Conference

The Consulate General of India cordially invites you to attend the ‘3rd Doing Business with India Conference’ scheduled to take place on Tuesday, 31 August 2010, at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg.

The event brings together culture, cuisine, arts and business in a display that showcases the best modern India in the field of design and technology. This includes an exhibition of Indian engineering and high technology prowess which is to be inaugurated on the morning of the August 30th at the MTN Centre at Nasrec, Johannesburg by the Minster for Commerce and Industry, which will run until 01 September 2010.

SACCI members are encouraged to interact with the Indian Engineering and Technology companies participating at the Indian Show, a list of companies are attached hereto. The programme also includes an opportunity to consider sampling nouvelle Indian cuisine at a Food week featuring a team of chefs from India’s Premier Taj Mahal hotels, in partnership with the Sandton Sun Hotel during the week of August 30th to September 4th which will take place at the Sun Restaurant at the hotel.

CASUAL DAY: HONEYDEW CLUSTER - 3 Sept

“LAUGH A LITTLE - GIVE A LITTLE PROJECT”
Casual day will be celebrated on Friday the 3rd of September 2010. Casual Day is a fundraising and an awareness creating project for persons with Disabilities. The project is managed by the National Council for Persons with Physical Disabilities in SA (NCPPDSA).
The South African Police Service (SAPS) takes part in this important event annually with the permission of the National Police Commissioner. The participation of the employees of the SAPS, by purchasing a Casual Day Sticker, directly contributes to the Comfort, Assistance and Disabled Care Fund of the SAPS (CADSAPS). read more...
